While technical skill and ability are obviously extremely important to completing any tasks that need done on every job I beleive that having the right mindset and respect for the job and the people involved with that job are also paramount.
There are some qualities that individuals possess that can not be measured on a resume, cover letter or your LinkedIn profile. Things like a strong work ethic, working well with other people, taking responsibility for your actions and making sure you are available to help others in your team are just some of the characteristics that not everyone possesses.
I am extremely confident I have these qualities engrained within me and have shown them throughout my life in every job and task I have done. To that end I have no problem working with any of my past collegues and have great professional and personal relationships with many of them to this day.
Much of my time is spent of graphics and web development but I also like to make roo for time away from the computer. I also have a great love for physical activity that gives my mind an outlet to decompress.
I have a great passion for sport and love the different benefits sports such as hockey and soccer give me on a regular basis. Apart from the obvious physical benefits, them allow me an opportunity to relieve stress, think creatively, socialize and network while having a good time and forgetting any problems or challenges I might be enduring at any given time in my life.
Through being active outside of work I think it actually makes me a better designer and all around person as well as just generally more fun to be around
